Join Us for a Conversation
Join us on Thursday, July 9, at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET for our monthly Post-Adoption Drop-In Support Group as we explore how the ADHD brain works and what that means for adopted children and their families.
We are pleased to welcome guest presenter Amber Kanallakan, LMFT—an adoptive parent, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and educator specializing in ADHD, neurodivergence, trauma, and parenting support.
Together, we’ll discuss practical, connection-based strategies to better understand and support your child. ADHD is more than a behavioral or mental health diagnosis—it reflects differences in how the brain develops and functions. Understanding those differences can help parents respond with greater empathy, confidence, and effectiveness.
Whether your child has a diagnosis of ADHD, you suspect they may be neurodivergent, or you simply want to better understand behavior through a neuroscience-informed lens, this discussion will offer practical insights for everyday parenting.
