Post-Adoption Drop-In Support Group

Ask a Social Worker!
Thursday, September 10 | 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET

Being an adoptive parent brings unique joys, questions, and challenges. Whether you’re navigating a new behavior, wondering if something is typical, exploring different parenting approaches, or simply looking for encouragement, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Join us for this month’s Post-Adoption Drop-In Support Group, where the conversation is guided by your questions.

This month, we’re inviting you to Ask a Social Worker! Bring your adoption-related questions—anything from behavior, sleep, and feeding concerns to TBRI®, therapy, parenting strategies, available resources, or anything else that’s on your mind.

The discussion will be led by Sabrina Somani, LCSW, an adoptive parent and therapist, and Carolyn Cain, MSW, an adoptive parent who has worked in international adoption since 1996 and is a TBRI® Practitioner. Together, they’ll provide a welcoming space for conversation, support, and practical ideas.

Whether you come with a question, want to listen, or simply connect with other adoptive parents, you’re welcome. We hope you’ll join us. To receive the Zoom link, please contact Carolyn at carolyn@new-beginnings.org. You are welcome to submit your questions in advance at carolyn@new-beginnings.org.
