New Beginnings is happy to announce that the length times for the Korean adoption program have shortened significantly. Since 2015, the average length of time has shortened by eleven months — from 26 months to 15. For many families, once the home study is completed, they are bringing their child home in less than a year. Some families are completing the entire process, including the homes study, in under a year.
This is good news if you are considering adopting from Korean. The Korean Program is highly recommended for many reasons. The boys are healthy, with comprehensive medical information and social histories. Monthly medical updates are given and excellent medical care is provided. In Korea, foster families provide each child with a loving, nurturing home.
Completing Korean adoptions in under a year is positive news — for our families, but most importantly, for the children.
