Connecting with Families in Pakistan
With several families currently in Pakistan, New Beginnings hosted a lunch to create space for connection, conversation, and shared experience. The gathering brought together families at different stages of the adoption and guardianship process, providing an opportunity to meet in person and connect outside of formal appointments.
Families were able to connect with one another, ask questions, and share reflections on their time in Pakistan. Mauz, our in-country coordinator, organized the lunch and was present to provide updates, listen to feedback, and offer support as families navigated local requirements and next steps.
Opportunities like this strengthen relationships, reduce uncertainty, and reinforce the sense of community that is central to New Beginnings’ work.
