Korea Children’s Day – A Day Filled With Fun Memories!

On Saturday May 3, many of our families gathered at SsamBap Korean BBQ Restaurant to celebrate the children, as is the custom in Korea!  Peter, age 5, demonstrated his Tae Kwon Do talents, and even broke the board!

 

 

 

The rice eating contest was another highlight of the day which was won by Max, age 6.  All of the children decorated a picture frame with their names written in Korean.  The parents enjoyed the 3 course luncheon of delicious Korean foods, and the opportunity to connect with other adoptive families.
